#Magicjack accounts software
So buyer beware!Īlso, the first time I had an agent who transferred me to another who supposedly could help, guess what, he wanted me to reinstall the software I had just installed. Had they given me the "RA" when I first complained, this would not have been an issue or if they sold a product that actually worked as advertised - this wouldn't be an issue.
#Magicjack accounts trial
Nevertheless, I asked for a supervisor and they told me I could return the product, but I couldn't get any money back because it had been over the 30-day trial period. I have saved a copy of the chat because I was astonished at this behavior.

I had an employee say he was going to help me and then he would just go away. I would not recommend Magicjack to anyone.

With service and a reputation like this, they will not be around for many more years. When you port to Magicjack, it's no longer your number it's theirs. They Magicjack customer service people are rude, abstinent and throwing every roadblock they can to make it almost impossible to port your number. When I contacted the rep for Magicjack I was told that they weren't required to transfer the number for another 7 days and that they weren't going to, so there. They finally got the information and processed the port so that I have the number assigned to my iPhone but Magicjack still has the number going to their system rendering my iPhone useless. I had the manager and another rep at the AT&T store work for over an hour on the phone with the rep at Magicjack and they had to repeatedly give the answers over and over again concerning my name, phone number, last four of my Social and they simply would not give them my account number so they could place the order for the port. Under duress, I did pay the additional year. I was told that I had to pay for an additional year to port the number. Tech support and rep contact are simply impossible to acquire, I decided to go to AT&T for a smart phone and port my number to my new provider.
